The Roofer Working Mission and Sharyland

Mission is the west end of the run we make every week. From our office on North Sugar Road in Pharr it is I-2 west through McAllen and out to the Shary Road and Conway exits. Citrus built this town — John Shary bought the land and planted the groves here a little over a hundred years ago — and plenty of Mission neighborhoods still have the big trees to show for it.

Those trees are part of why we get called. Limbs drop on shingles, leaves and citrus debris pack into valleys, and heavy shade keeps a slope damp long after the rest of the roof dries. We handle roof repair, full roof replacement, storm restoration, and remodeling inside the house — starting with a look at the roof.

Our Coverage

Where We Work in Mission

We cover Mission from the Sharyland side across to Conway and Bentsen Palm, plus the older streets near the historic downtown and everything running along the expressway.

The split here is grove-era neighborhoods against the newer Sharyland building. Older Mission roofs usually come with limb damage, packed valleys, and flashing that has been patched more than once. The newer ones are mostly hail and workmanship. Two different problems, two different fixes.

Why Mission Calls Us

Why Mission Homeowners Keep Our Number

Every hail season brings crews into Mission who were not here the month before. Here is the case for the contractor with a real address down the expressway.

The Drive Is Short

Our office is on North Sugar Road in Pharr, straight out I-2. Mission is a run down the expressway, not a job we squeeze in when we happen to be out west.

We Check What Trees Do

Mission's older neighborhoods are full of grove-era shade. Limb strikes, packed valleys, and slopes that stay damp are things we look for here that would not matter on a bare lot.

Local, Not Passing Through

BBB accredited with an A+ rating since 2016. Our address is a real one in Pharr, not a truck with out-of-state plates parked off 83 for the season.

The Phone Gets Answered

24 hours a day, seven days a week. Storm damage in Sharyland at midnight still reaches a person, not a machine.

On the Roof, Then a Written Quote

We get on the roof, photograph it, and put the number in writing afterward. Nobody prices a Mission roof from the curb.

Roofing and Remodeling Together

20+ years in the roofing trade, plus kitchens, baths, flooring and room additions. One contractor for the roof and for what sits under it.

Good to Know

Mission Questions

Do you cover Sharyland, or only the city of Mission?
Both. We work the Shary Road corridor, the Pioneer side, and the older Sharyland streets the same as anywhere else in town. If the address says Mission, TX, we come out.
Trees hang over my roof in Mission. Is that actually a problem?
It can be. Limbs scrape granules off shingles, leaves and citrus debris pack into valleys and hold water there, and heavy shade keeps a roof from drying out between rains. We look hard at the valleys and the shaded slopes on Mission houses, because that is where the damage usually starts.
How fast can you get to Mission after a hail storm?
Usually the same day. We are in Pharr, so Mission is a straight run west on I-2. If water is coming into the house, say so on the call — same-day emergency tarping happens before anything else gets scheduled.
What happens when you come out to look at my Mission roof?
We get up on the roof, photograph what we find, and go through the photos with you. If the roof has years left in it, that is what you will hear.
Can you build a room addition in Mission, not just roof work?
Yes. Room additions are regular work for us — framing, wiring, plumbing and finish work — along with home remodeling across Mission. The roofing side just means the new roof ties into the old one properly.
